Ikeda Masuo and Bancho Gallery<

Since Hiroshi Aoki, a founder of Bancho Gallery met Ikeda Masuo in 1962,

while he was working at Nihonbashi Gallery, we have represented Masuo Ikeda, espatially in his edition works. In 1971, Aoki and Ikeda sellected his copperplate prints from the works of 1960 to 1962 then published as our first book. We have published 25 art books of Ikeda Masuo since then. After his death we have done several shows in our gallery and we keep having shows and will introduce his great works of art.
